Amazon’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” is not only the best show streaming right now, and the most important, but, also, better than the original “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy. That is, if you are a true Tolkien fan. That is because the basic premise of Tolkien’s work is good overcoming evil, therefore there is nothing more apropos than addressing the prejudice in Tolkien’s own work.
And to the extent that it may be maligned by a certain segment of the population, that is because, simply, it is too good for this world.
