What are you passionate about?
The word “passion” comes from the Latin root “pati-,” which means “to suffer,” “to endure,” or “to die for.” All these definitions have similar meanings because “to suffer” is to truly die. To “die to oneself,” as in quasi-religio-theocratic dogma. I guess. However, in truth, it really means “to live” because Latin sucks, it’s a dead language, and that’s ALL it means to me.
Because “true living” can only happen when you die to self…that’s when you discover what you’re actually passionate about.
